FIXEREZO LEGAL

Terms and Conditions

These terms explain how homeowners, customers, and technicians are expected to use Fixerezo in a safe, accurate, and respectful way as the platform grows across new service areas.

1. Platform Role

Fixerezo is a digital marketplace that helps customers discover independent technicians and helps technicians present their services. Fixerezo acts only as an intermediary platform and trust layer. Fixerezo does not employ technicians, act as a contractor, supervise field work, or become a party to the service agreement formed between a customer and a technician.

2. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate request details, use contact features only for genuine service needs, communicate respectfully, and leave honest reviews based on real experiences.

3. Technician Responsibilities

Technicians must keep their profile details accurate, only list services they are genuinely qualified to perform, behave professionally, respect customer privacy, and avoid misleading claims, spam, or misuse of platform data.

4. Verification and Visibility

Fixerezo may review, limit, suspend, or remove profiles when information appears inaccurate, incomplete, unsafe, abusive, misleading, or harmful to customers or the platform.

5. Pricing, Payments, and Service Outcomes

Unless Fixerezo clearly introduces a dedicated platform billing or payment feature, all job pricing, negotiation, timing, warranties, scope, and service outcomes are agreed directly between the customer and the technician. If Fixerezo later offers paid subscription tools or uses a third-party payment processor such as Paddle, those billing features apply only to platform access or visibility tools and do not make Fixerezo the provider of the technician's underlying services.

6. Subscription Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation

Paid technician subscriptions, when enabled, may renew automatically at the stated billing interval unless canceled before renewal. If Fixerezo uses a payment processor or hosted billing portal, technicians may be required to manage cancellation through that provider. Unless Fixerezo clearly states otherwise at checkout or in the dashboard, cancellation stops future renewal but does not guarantee an immediate refund or immediate removal of access before the current paid period ends.

7. Refund Requests and Chargeback Prevention

If a technician is unsatisfied with a paid subscription, the technician may request a full or prorated refund review during the current billing cycle before escalating the matter to a bank, card issuer, or payment provider. Refund requests should be sent through Fixerezo support or any billing workflow clearly presented on the platform. Any refund decision may depend on applicable law, payment-processor requirements, abuse-prevention review, and the circumstances of the subscription. Fixerezo may issue an immediate, partial, or full refund, at its discretion, to resolve billing concerns quickly, reduce unnecessary chargebacks, and protect platform integrity.

8. Reviews and Content

Users may submit reviews, profile content, and work-related details, but all such content must be lawful, respectful, and tied to real activity on the platform. Fixerezo may remove misleading, abusive, or irrelevant content.

9. Account Security

Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials. Fixerezo may require additional verification steps to protect accounts and improve trust across the platform. To prevent system abuse, account phone verification is subject to a strict rate limit of 3 OTP attempts per session, after which verification will be temporarily locked for 24 hours.

10. As-Is and As-Available Disclaimer

Fixerezo is provided on an 'AS-IS' and 'AS-AVAILABLE' basis. Fixerezo does not employ, endorse, certify, guarantee, or insure the work, conduct, qualifications, pricing, availability, or safety of any technician or customer using the platform. Users choose whether to hire, engage, or provide services at their own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Fixerezo will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including property damage, personal loss, lost profits, missed bookings, service dissatisfaction, fraud, chargebacks, delays, or other losses arising from services offered, requested, negotiated, or performed by technicians or customers through the platform. Users remain responsible for their own decisions before booking, hiring, paying, entering property, or providing services.

12. Indemnification

Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Fixerezo, its operators, and service providers harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising out of their content, misuse of the platform, violation of these terms, unlawful conduct, payment abuse, or disputes created through their services or hiring decisions.

13. Updates to These Terms

Fixerezo may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the updated terms.

14. Account Registration

Users must provide accurate registration details and keep account information current. Fixerezo may suspend or remove accounts that use false identity details, invalid contact information, or misleading service claims.

15. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not use Fixerezo for fraud, harassment, spam, fake reviews, illegal activity, scraping, account abuse, or attempts to harm the platform, its users, or its trust signals.

16. Content Oversight

Fixerezo may review listings, reviews, profile content, messages, and other user-generated content and may limit, hide, edit, or remove content that appears unsafe, abusive, misleading, irrelevant, or harmful to the platform.

17. Suspension or Termination

Fixerezo may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms, create security risks, provide false information, harm customers or technicians, or damage the platform experience.

18. User Disputes

Disputes about service quality, pricing, timing, execution, cancellations, refunds, property damage, safety, or conduct are primarily between the customer and the technician. Fixerezo may surface platform records or billing records when available, but it is not the direct party to the service contract and is not required to mediate or pay claims arising from technician services.

19. Intellectual Property

The Fixerezo brand, platform design, content structure, and original platform materials remain the property of Fixerezo unless otherwise stated. Users may not copy, resell, or misuse platform assets without permission.

20. Governing Law and Venue

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these terms are governed by the laws selected by Fixerezo for platform operations, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally may be brought only in the courts or legal venues that Fixerezo designates in its official business records or operating jurisdiction.

21. Regional Use

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of Fixerezo complies with any local laws or regulations that apply to them in their own region or state.

22. Contact

For legal, policy, billing, refund, or platform-related questions, users may contact Fixerezo through the official support channels made available on the platform.
