Fixie Business Privacy Notice
This notice explains the business and customer information Fixie Business uses, why it is needed, which providers support the service, and the controls available to technicians.
Last updated: August 22, 2026
1. Scope
This notice explains the additional information processed when a technician uses the optional Fixie Business Assistant. The main Fixerezo Privacy Policy also applies to the technician account, marketplace profile, messages, and other platform activity.
2. Information Fixie Business Uses
Depending on the feature used, Fixie Business may process technician instructions, profile and service details, customer names and contact details, customer conversations, private customer notes, tags, appointment data, follow-up schedules, estimates, business rules, working hours, service area, pricing settings, assistant chat history, model usage, action status, automation records, and audit logs.
3. Why This Information Is Processed
The information is used to maintain conversation continuity, understand customer context, generate relevant drafts, check scheduling rules, prepare or execute authorized actions, create estimates and follow-ups, produce business analytics, show reminders and notifications, measure plan usage, prevent duplicate actions, investigate failures, and protect account and platform safety.
4. AI and Voice Processing
Text needed to answer a request may be sent to the configured Google Gemini service for generation. In live talk, browser speech recognition converts speech to text, and the assistant reply text may be sent to the configured Gemini text-to-speech service to generate audio. Browser speech recognition may also be processed by the browser or device provider. Generated voice audio is returned with no-store instructions and is not intentionally added to Fixie Business memory, while the related text interaction may be retained as assistant history.
5. Customer Data and Technician Authority
The technician is responsible for having a legitimate business reason and any permission required to place customer information in Fixerezo. Technicians should minimize personal data, avoid sensitive information that is not needed for the job, and keep private notes factual and appropriate.
6. Service Providers and Payments
Fixerezo uses service providers to operate Fixie Business, including Supabase for database and authentication infrastructure, Vercel for application hosting, Google Gemini for configured AI processing, and PayPal for subscriptions. PayPal handles payment credentials under its own privacy practices. Fixerezo stores billing identifiers, subscription status, billing email, period dates, and transaction references needed to manage access and records, not full card or bank credentials.
7. Notifications
Paid-access technicians may receive navbar alerts about actions waiting for review, appointments starting soon, automation results, estimate decisions, subscription events, payment problems, or high daily unit usage. These alerts may contain limited customer or appointment context and can be marked as read. Users should protect access to devices where account notifications may appear.
8. Retention and Deletion
Fixie Business records may be retained while the account or subscription is active and as reasonably needed for continuity, billing, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, auditability, and legal obligations. Account deletion requests are handled under the main Privacy Policy, subject to lawful retention and verification requirements.
9. Choices and Requests
Technicians can turn Fixie business data access on or off, change operating modes, pause automation, update business settings, cancel renewal, and use available account tools to update or delete information. When business data access is off, Fixie does not load the technician profile, customer conversations, schedule, rules, analytics, or business history as AI context; personalized answers, customer recognition, schedule help, and data-based automations are therefore unavailable. Privacy requests, corrections, deletion requests, or questions may be sent to [email protected]. We may verify the requester before acting and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
10. Security and Policy Updates
Fixerezo uses reasonable technical and organizational protections, including account authorization, row-level access controls, action checks, and audit records, but no system can guarantee absolute security. This notice may change as Fixie Business adds providers or capabilities; material changes may be communicated through the platform or available account channels.
